Contest info

Check in opens 60 min before  start time. You must Check in no later than 15 min before start of contest. 

Purebred poodle class. ALL dogs must be groomed in a poodle trim WITH FEET & FACE SHAVED(gotee or mustache allowed) 

 Time is based on size. Feet can be shaved prior to class start. 

Any purebred dog except poodles groomed to breed standard. Time based on size of dog. 

Open div breeds allowed

This is a Handstripped and Wire coats class. Dogs are groomed based on their breed standard.

Sporting dog class. All dogs groomed to breed standard.

Any breed not trimmed to breed standard or mixed breed in any trim. (Example: Poodle in a terrier trim, Bichon in a asian fusion trim etc.) Poodles should not have a clean face or clean feet. 

Pre groomed Abstract Runway Designs judged on technical and creativity. Minimal color to be used.  Can be embellished 

All Creative classes are pre groomed!

These are simple designs and color that could be completed in the salon within a few hours.  (examples: spirals, minimal color with carving or all over color on a shorter haired dog with minimal carving)

Bring your pregroomed full creative style theme and present  with props, backdrops and music! 

You will be grooming a shelter dog and turning this homeless scruffy sometimes stinky pooch into a beautiful butterfly in hopes of getting him or her adopted. This is a fun rewarding contest. You may even fall in love with the pup on your table and bring it home! What an ultimate prize!

 2hrs start to finish. Judging based on style, handling techniques and love shown to your canvas.  There are times the dog is unable to be completed due to behavior or fear. That is OKAY! This is a fun low pressu

You get 75 minutes to complete your groom! The first 60 min are with clippers only! You get 15 min at the end for scissoring and finishing! It is a challenge! Are you up for it?
